The Tango dancefloor comes to your screen for the third year in a row, now for the first time in widescreen! The best amateur and professional dancers from around the world gathered again this year in Buenos Aires, Argentina, all with one goal in mind: to become the next World Champions in Argentine Tango. This DVD will take you through the choreographies of the best dancers in this Championship of Tango Escenario (Stage Tango), culminating with the countdown of the top five couples, from the fifth up to the number one couple who reached the top and were named World Champions 2008! Altogether 12 individual performances are featured on this DVD, each couple performing a choreographed routine solo on stage. There are also extra features, including: The Closing Act, a final demonstration of dancers from the National University Institute of Art with the World Champions joining in at the end! A performance by Mariano Mores and his orchestra Our yearly 'Bloopers show', which includes various mistakes that happened during the competition
